New Year's Eve in India is a mix of house parties, terrace countdowns, overpriced club entries and families watching the fireworks on TV. Somewhere between 11:59 and 12:01 everyone sends the same 'Happy New Year' to forty people. A surprise page lets you send one thing to the one person who matters, and have it open right at midnight.
Our Story — The Film (₹39) turns your year into a movie: a ticket with their name on it, a 5-4-3-2-1 countdown, opening titles, chapters with your photos (January's first date, the trip in May, the fight in August you laugh about now), rolling credits starring them and a post-credits scene where they write their review. Planning to ask something big? Will You…? (₹39) lights up your memories as stars before the question appears, and their answer comes straight back to you. For the year ahead, Open When… (₹29) holds up to twelve sealed letters, so you can lock one until the first of every month.
Set the page to unlock at 12:00 AM on 1 January in their time zone, send the link early with 'don't open yet', and read their reply on your gift page.
Ideas to put in it
- Make each chapter of Our Story one month of your year, with the photo that sums it up.
- Give your film a title and a tagline, like 'The One Where We Finally Went to Goa'.
- Write twelve Open When… envelopes and lock each one until the first of a month.
- Put three things you want to do together this year in the post-credits scene.
- Use your midnight countdown on video call: both of you open the link at 12:00.
- Proposing on New Year's Eve? Hand over the QR code just before the fireworks.

Questions
Can the page open exactly at midnight on 1 January?
Yes. Set an unlock time while editing and the page stays sealed with a countdown until then. The time you pick is in your phone's time zone, so if they live abroad, pick the moment it's midnight for them.
Is there a New Year template?
Not a New Year-only one yet. Our Story — The Film (₹39) makes a lovely year-in-review, Will You…? (₹39) is for a New Year proposal, and Open When… (₹29) gives them letters for the months ahead.
Can I make it on 31 December?
Yes. Most people finish in 10 to 20 minutes, and the link is ready the moment you pay.
Is it only for couples?
No. A best friend, a sibling or a parent works just as well. Write it the way you talk to them.
