How it works
- 1
Pick the occasion
Birthday, anniversary, Rakhi, Diwali, long distance, sorry, a wedding invitation — each template is a full working gift with a live demo.
- 2
Add their name, your photos and words
The words arrive pre-written; change what should sound like you. Quick create does it in about two minutes, the full editor in ten to twenty.
- 3
Preview, pay once, send one link
Tap through every screen for free. Pay once by UPI or card and get a private link and a QR code for WhatsApp, Instagram or a printed card.
The whole thing, step by step: how it works.
Private by design
Every gift lives at its own private link. Gifts aren't listed anywhere on awwdrop.in and aren't indexed by search engines, so only the people you send the link to can open it — add a 4-digit code if you want it tighter. A gift stays online for a year and can be renewed; if it isn't, its photos and letters are deleted 30 days after it expires. More in our privacy policy.
Why it exists
This started with a birthday. I'm a software engineer, and for a friend's birthday I built a little website instead of buying something.
Watching her open it beat every gift I'd ever bought. So I made it possible for anyone to make one, without writing a line of code, for less than a coffee.
Every template here is one I'd be happy to send myself. If anything doesn't work, or you're stuck at 11:50 pm the night before, write to me — I read every email.
